Interesting idea, that our memories are like bottle in the ocean of our own brain!
Thanks for your visit!

An amazing piece of street - great lines, great moment & human dynamic, sharp as a pin.
I feel for the kid on the edge.

something really fun about this photo. I love how you left the shoes just in the foreground infront of the pipe!

Exposure must have been difficult here. I'm surprised the inside and outside of the pipe are relatively balanced rather than having blowout or silhouettes.

It turned out balanced because the light was not harsh - it was a soft evening light - and horizontal, thus entering the thing instead of keeping it in the shade.

is there any way to crop the white border on the left?
i don't know it might ruin the picture and its perfect right now!

Nothing is ever perfect!
As is, the image was cropped by a tiny bit - 5% maybe - at the left and bottom. What limited my cropping was that I wanted to keep the shoes on one hand, and that I never use anything else than square or 2x3 ratio. But I agree with you that this left white part is useless. Thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks, Thomas. No, you have them all. I didn't step back to have the full O, because the kids would have been too small.
