After 47 years, the Lyon wholesale market is moving to a newer location. On December 31st, on a cold and wet day, I was there for the last day where the market would operate.
No glamorous arty stuff here, just the plain real life of those guys, having for some worked their whole life there, melancholic about leaving the place. This woman had worked here for 42 years, selling flowers. The new place is not ready yet for the "flower" market, so in the meantime, they will have to find other ways of selling.
